PROFIS Engineering - Concrete-to-concrete (C2C) Module

With the newly launch C2C module in PROFIS Engineering, you can now design post-installed rebar connection without the use of spreadsheet.

Select Concrete-to-Concrete Module in PROFIS Engineering:

PROFIS_Engr_post-installed_rebar

Select "end anchorage" and your corresponding application:

PROFIS_Engr_end_anchorage

If you have the loading for individual rebar and wish to go for a "per bar" analysis, please select "Single Rebar".

Adjust the geometry of the connection and enter your loading:

PROFIS_Engr_adjust_geometry

You can input the dimension and loading of your connection in the center session of the interface. Please note that under EC2, simply support is assumed and only shear force is allowed.

Adjust the concrete grade:

PROFIS_Engr_adjust_concrete_grade

Enter the rebar configuration and corresponding product used:

PROFIS_Engr_enter_rebar

By clicking "Define other rebar parameters", you can set tailor-made minimum and maximum area of reinforcement.

Corresponding result is shown on the right and report extraction:

Please note that the calculated embedment length under "EN Anchorage" is most commonly accepted in HK. Further engineering judgement is needed if you wish to go for "EN Strut & Tie" or "EOTA TR069".

Click "Generate Report" to extract the calculation result for submission:
