Can the embedment length for HIT-HY 200-R + HIT-V-R M16 lower than its approved value (in my case it is 72mm < 80mm)?

Dear Sing Wong,

The minimum embedment depth of Bonded Anchor should be governed by the ETA Assessment Report of the product.

Please find the ETA Assessment Report through the following link,

DIBt - Deutsche Institut für Bautechnik (hilti.com)

Page 13 of the report shows the installation parameters of HIT-V, with size M16 the minimum effective embedment depth is 80mm.

The stated performance cannot be guaranteed if the product was installed outside of its ETA Assessment Report boundary.
