How much weight can HKV M10 and M12 anchor bolt withstand by two threaded rod?

Hi, I am writing to ask for the withstand loading for the HKV M10 and M12 anchor bolt by two threaded rod. If the loading was around 1350kg. Whether HKV M10 or M12 will you recommended? please see the attached photo for your information.

Thank you for your enquiry.

First of all, you may find the loading details for HKV from the below table. Please be reminded that it is based on C25 concrete grade and HKV can only be applied on non-cracked concrete. You may find more details from the below link.

From your drawing, there is a total 13.5kN tensile load to be fulfilled. One no. of HKV M12 on C25 non-cracked concrete is 4.2kN which cannot fulfill the requirement. So, at least HKV M16 should be applied. Also, group effects may be appeared if the anchors are too close. Hence, a pull-out test should be carried to verify the actual on-site loading for HKV.
