Drilling Robot for Installation Projects
Increase speed, safety and accuracy with the BIM-powered Jaibot
What if you could fully automate the construction workflow by going beyond mere digital planning? What if a robot could take on repetitive work, help reduce the risk of human error and complete installation projects faster, more safely and more accurately? BIM has already helped greatly reduce complexity. Now, using digital planning as a base, the semi-autonomous drilling robot Jaibot is taking ceiling and wall installation work to the next level by achieving significant productivity gains.

The future of construction
Gain a competitive edge today with a semi-autonomous drilling robot
- A construction robot for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) and interior finishing (IF) installation applications
- Semi-autonomous marking and drilling in concrete ceilings
- A completely cordless system that can work for up to 8 hours between charges
- Built-in dust removal with high-performing VC 10-22 vacuum
- An easy-to-use intelligent system that doesn’t require expert skills to operate

How does Jaibot work?
More efficient, more productive MEP and interior finishing installations
The semi-autonomous drilling robot Jaibot helps your installation projects become more productive. Using a digital plan, the robot takes over project execution, and the same data can be used to track the progress and status of the installation project. As the robot marks and then drills the holes according to the plan, it helps to relieve the construction worker of strenuous and repetitive tasks like overhead drilling. All your workforce needs to do is operate the Jaibot – our new construction robot.
In support of complex ceiling types, the Jaibot can now identify and map installed profiles of corrugated sheet metal deck structures, align with the digital plans and automatically adapt planned drill holes to pre-defined installation zones.

More accurate drilling
Benefit from a digitized construction value chain
With BIM and digital planning, engineers contribute to a building process that can be more efficient, result in fewer problems on site, and produce the optimum system design. A construction robot uses the same data for job execution. All trades can automate their jobsites with Jaibot by following these steps, for example:
- Upload the data from Autocad or Revit to the Hilti Cloud
- Import the job file via the rugged PLC 400 field tablet
- Position the Jaibot with a Hilti total station
The construction robot then drills thousands of holes autonomously according to the drilling plan, resulting in far greater drilling accuracy from this digitized process.

Safer construction sites
Reduce jobsite risk areas and ease labor shortages
Overhead work for MEP and IF installations can be strenuous, challenging and time-consuming for your workers. And in times of skilled-labor shortage in the construction industry, taking good care of your team is a top priority. For your team, working with a construction robot helps reduce the risks associated with their jobsite projects. Their job is now to operate the Jaibot, set-up the total station and ensure that the Jaibot can perform its job.

Fewer layout errors
Increase quality and reduce rework with end-to-end digital planning
Coordinating multiple contractors can be difficult. And when working with different references, projects can suffer from poor quality, resulting in costly rework. A construction robot can be faster and more accurate as it autonomously drills all the holes according to the digital plan. The hole location, depth, diameter and marking pattern are defined by the drilling plan, likely resulting in greater accuracy and cleaner holes for faster, easier installations.
The Jaibot automatically syncs its progress to the system and to the Hilti cloud for planning of subsequent tasks, real-time documentation, data export and printing.
How Jaibot make your work easier

Digital-to-field for easier layouts
You can increase productivity and accuracy by positioning MEP support fastening points with a total station.
