This training will cover the design approach for anchors used to fasten steel fixtures to concrete. This will include the types of anchors, the factors that influence performance and the failure modes to be checked in the design. Also installation and on-site testing as well as product qualification and case studies will be discussed.

This training will cover the design approach when using a chemical adhesive with rebar to install a concrete to concrete connection. This will cover detailed design examples, frequently asked questions by Engineers and information for product selection and approval in Hong Kong.

The purpose of this training to cover the key functions of Profis Anchor software and give Engineers an understanding of the design method that is used in the software. Through a design example, the Engineer can follow the calculation method step by step.
