THE CHALLENGE

Hilti jobsite reference police Hong Kong

Hong Kong’s Architectural Services Department wanted their contractors to use code compliant firestop products on their jobsites. This included updating fire protection systems in apartments allocated to PMQ.

OUR HILTI SOLUTION

Our Hilti products were chosen for the job and were used to upgrade many openings in the apartments. The contractors used:

  • For trunkings that were penetrating through walls – Hilti CFS-BL firestop blocks
  • For insulated pipes – Hilti CP 648 firestop wraps
  • For cables – Hilti CP 611A firestop mastic

Our Hilti Documentation Manager software was also used to document every stage of the firestop upgrade.

This helped planners, building owners and their teams to document firestop installations simply and efficiently, as well as produce compliant installation reports.
